word on the street is that notorious r.o.b. is quitting smoking.
my initial reaction was, "pull this leg, and I'll sing jingle bells."
BUT, I will offer my continued support to my brother, in an effort to celebrate his 80th birthday with him.
With that said, this is what we know.
Quitting cigarettes is a mental thing.
Yes, is does have some physical issues, but it is 100% mental to want to quit, until then, it just doesn't happen.
Patches, gum, etc., just prolong the inevitable return to smokes.
and beyond all else, any quitting methodology that requires the former smoker to strategically place three (3) emergency cigarettes at work, home, and car, DOES NOT WORK.
That much has been proven.
Power to you my brother. I support you.
It ain't easy, no doubt, but the return is well worth it.
At $ 6-7 a pack, it is time. Your daughter's children will thank you.
