~~The Date Has Changed!~~

Due to a scheduling conflict with another local
pageant, I have moved the pageant up a week. I am hoping those of you who
had the scheduling problem will now be able to attend.

Don't forget, we are handing out Nintendo Wii(s), Nintendo Ds(s), Sony
PSP(s), and more at Nationals!

0-2 Year olds, 3-4 Year olds, 5-6 Year olds

Girls Age Groups based on age Day of Pageant

0-11 months, 1 year olds, 2 year olds, 3 year olds, 4 year olds, 5-6 year
olds, 7-8 year olds, 9-10 year olds, 11-12 year olds, 13-15 year olds, and
16-18 year olds

0-4 Year old Boys and Girls will compete in the Morning

5-up Boy and Girls will compete in the Afternoon

PRE-REGISTRATION AND FEES MUST BE SUBMITTED BY APRIL 1, 2008

In order to purchase enough prizes and Participation gifts you must
pre-register by given date.

COMPETITION RULES REGARDING CLOTHING AND HAIR/MAKE-UP

Beauty Attire: Any dress no longer than the ankle these include Sunday best,
Easter dress, Flower girl type dresses or any dress that is not glitz. There
can be sequins as long as you bought the dress that way. No custom made
dresses. No make-up permitted on contestants ages 10 and under. We
discourage heavy make-up 11-up. Please make contestants look natural and age
appropriate.

There will be a Beauty winner crowned in each age division. These
contestants will receive a tiara, sash and special gift. Royalty will have
publicity for one year during your reign as March of Dimes titleholders.
Being crowned as a March of Dimes titleholder we want you to proudly
represent your title by participating in Parades and other community events
that allow you to get exposure. We want our royalty to be proud
representatives of Precious Beauties Pageants and The March of Dimes. Please
feel free to promote your titles when ever possible and share your pictures
with us for our web site! We are proud of you and we want you to be proud to
represent Precious Beauties and THE MARCH OF DIMES!

Trophies will be awarded to the contestants for best dress, best eyes, hair,
smile and personality. Beauty winners will be bumped from winning any of
these awards. Photogenic is an extra event you can enter at an additional
cost, however these must be submitted to director no later than April 1st
for judging. Photos will be judged prior to competition with a separate
panel of judges. Photogenic winners have no bearing on pageant competition
itself.

WE BELIEVE THAT NO CONTESTANT SHOULD WALK AWAY EMPTY HANDED. THEREFORE EACH
AND EVERY PARTICIPANT WILL RECEIVE A TROPHY AND A GIFT FOR ENTERING.
PROCEEDS WILL BENEFIT THE BLAIR COUNTY MARCH OF DIMES. EVERYONE IS A WINNER!

EVERYONE IS INVITED TO EITHER WATCH MS. DAWN WALK OR PARTICIPATE IN THE WALK
ALONG WITH MS DAWN IN THE MARCH FOR BABIES ON APRIL 27, 2008 AT 1PM. THE
WALK WILL BE AT LEGION PARK LOCATED AT NORTH JUNIATA STREET AND BELAIR ROAD
HOLLIDAYSBURG, PA. MS. DAWN WILL BE HANDING OVER THE MONEY EARNED FROM THIS
PAGEANT AND WALKING FOR ALL THE PREMATURE BABIES OUT THERE!

We are asking each contestant to please bring in items that can be given to
premature babies. Suggested items: Preemie clothes, blankets, preemie
diapers, bottles, pacifiers, etc.
