I am raising my brothers kids , boy 2, girl 5. They were abused by thier father and cannot live with thier mother, she is "mentally vacant". This is a challenge to say the least seeing as how I my own children are 22,18,16,11. I am pleased with the progress the kids are making and happy to have them with me despite the fact that my family is non supportive and feels that I should have minded my own business and let the kids go into foster care. (I feel it is my business if any helpless child is being abused) Any how seeing as it's 1:30 am and I am very tired I will be adding more as the forum grows. Hope to hear from many of you soon.
