what did I need to get me out of the deep depression that developed during the course of today? I'll tell you what, cake, ice cream, wine and my best friends who turned up at my door as soon as they knew all was not well with me, god bless them I love them all to bits

Oh! plus Patrick Swayze at his best in Dirty Dancing and Ghost on my big screen telly, plenty of rewinding going on for certain scenes of course! we all got a little weepy though, he was so gorgeous

Now I have to make up for not working all day but I'm not bothered, can't sleep anyway.

It's fabulous, isn't it? My new favorite dessert, surpassing even frozen lemon mousse, tiramisu and molten chocolate cake... and blackberry walnut crumble... and cheesecake...

Been drifting into gloominess a lot lately, need to shake it off, hopefully my weekend away will perk me up a little fingers crossed, life seems pretty boring at the moment one way and another.

I've got so much going on lately and it keeps me distracted but I think I've gotten in a little bit over my head, I'd like a bit of a time out.

Edinburgh sounds like fun though, I'm sure you'll have a great time. Find yourself a nice Scottish boytoy ;)

I met her boyfriend on Tuesday, we ended up talking for four hours. It was really nice, it did us both good. I'll go visit him sometime next week, we need to exchange photos and videos and he said I could pick out a purse of hers or something to remember her by.

Tomorrow it'll be a month and it already seems like so much longer. It's strange how quickly you get used to things.. but that doesn't really make them a lot easier.

it must have been a relief for both of you to be able to talk about the girl you knew so well. You do get used to them not being there any more and I promise it does get easier eventually. *hugs*
