I'm just between flats at the moment. I had to move out of the lovely studio in the 10th that I had. It belongs to a friend of mine Patrick, and he said the flat was mine as long as his brother, who worked in Africa as an engineer, didn't need it, but he had a long-standing arrangement with his brother that if he returned to France the flat would be his. Well, the country he was working in changed the law about foreign nationals working there and he had to leave, and I had to move out. It is so hard to find a flat here. I'm staying with a friend at the moment who has a guest room, but it is a temporary arrangement and I feel like I'm imposing. Work is good, but we're busy, and that makes it even harder to look for a flat. It's stressing me out and getting me down. But it's no big thing.

Also this silly French girl has been messing me around and lately I've started feeling (but not behaving, I hope) like a teenage girl ("but what did she mean when said that, and if she meant that then why did do this"). I'm so cross with myself it's not true. But that's French girls for you.

Onwards and upwards. It takes a lot to keep me down for long.
