We did! -- Kashmanik, 09:42:23 01/23/10 Sat [1] (93.97.170.133)
It was only a six month lease, but we took it just to get into the town and have a base to find somewhere new from.
I'm gonna post pics but annoyingly Voy won't let me do it in one post, so be prepared for some spamming!

Exterior -- Kashmanik, 09:49:25 01/23/10 Sat [1] (93.97.170.133)
So this is the outside of the house. It's an old 4 storey terraced house (there's a lower ground floor you can't see from the front) and you can see the restaurant we'll be next door to (which is supposed to be very cool - every week they do a movie night and meal for £5. This week it was Nosferatu!) They also do live music and stuff, so could be a nice place to hang out. I've added another pic I got from the restaurants website showing the rest of the street. (I know it doesn't look like it, but there are actually a lot of shops, pubs and cafes on the road as well!)

Lower Ground Floor -- Kashmanik, 09:52:46 01/23/10 Sat [1] (93.97.170.133)
So the lower ground floor is a big kitchen/diner running the full length of the house with stairs up to a garden at the back. There's also a really cool little bench/sofa thing built under the stairs up to the ground floor. No pics facing the other end of the room, unfortunately, where the door to the garden is.

Ground Floor -- Kashmanik, 09:55:54 01/23/10 Sat [1] (93.97.170.133)
I'd just like to remind you folks that this isn't our stuff in the house! When we're there it may be a bit less floral and a lot less nudey artwork on every wall!
This is the room you enter from the front door, a living room running the length of the house. (It's actually wider than the pic makes it seem.)
There's also a door with steps leading to the garden, so it's accessible from the living room and kitchen.

First Floor -- Kashmanik, 09:57:56 01/23/10 Sat [1] (93.97.170.133)
The first floor has the spare bedroom and bathroom. I can't wait to use the shower cubicle.
The spare bedroom also has some big fitted cupboards you can't see, which will be handy.

Second floor -- Kashmanik, 10:00:00 01/23/10 Sat [1] (93.97.170.133)
Again, this is a room running almost the full length of the house, and it'll be our bedroom. It looks a bit grey on the picture but the floorboards are bright, shiny white and the room is lovely and airy.

Garden -- Kashmanik, 10:01:09 01/23/10 Sat [1] (93.97.170.133)
Last pic! The garden is very nice but just needs a little attention to tidy it up. Should be lovely in the summer though.
