Subject: Woe is me

Back to work today, blah!!

However the upside is that my desk is clear thanks to my brilliant and awesome colleagues in the office which is why I'm treating them all to donuts and coffee before we have to get our heads down and do some actual work.

Had to travel in on a very busy bus this morning, stood next to a very smelly guy who reeked of sweat and garlic, ugh!! disgusting.

Meeting up with the kids Dad today at lunchtime, funny how we get along famously now we're not married, we're just good pals which I'm really pleased about.

I am stuck at home because I need to be here to receive a very important package on behalf of my sister. So I'm doing housework and am revising some. In the evening I'm meeting a friend. I want to go see Juno, can you believe it's only just come out here? I bet you guys have got it all on DVD already.

I didn't do anything exciting today; got my haircut very short and had my beard trimmed at the barbers, so I'm very smart now. Did some more reading for an essay I'm doing. Arranged to view some flats on Saturday (half for the fun of it, half seriously). That's about it.

Oh, and I'm cooking a chicken right now. Mmmm.
