It helps, a little bit, to know people are thinking of me. One of my best friends died last week and her funeral is tomorrow. Today we went to look at her body. It was the worst birthday ever.

It's okay, you guys didn't know. It's just sort of unnerving to get happy congratulations when I've never been unhappier. My fb page looks odd to me like that, you know? It really is tragic, it was so unexpected. A lung emboly or however you say it in English, a blood clot in her lung. I'm not really doing well, tbh. Her family is awfully shook up.

I guessed illness of some sort, but normally there's some sort of diagnosis first, time to prepare for the worst. This is even worse. It hasn't happened to me, but it has to several people I know: someone their age, young, suddenly just gone. Spending time with other people you're close to who were also close to your friend who died and who feel the same way you do seemed to help my friends. You'll probably find people who aren't feeling like you do unbearable at the moment.

But my heart really does go out to you, and to your friend's family and loved ones. There is nothing sadder than a young death.

I don't know what to say, nothing seems adequate. Only just found out a few moments ago when I came across your Live Journal link in my favourites while looking for something else and was moved to tears by your wonderful dedication to your friend, so very very sorry Nadia, love you *hugs*
