but she has also apparently fallen for her trainer at the gym so is sending out confusing messages to the pair of them, I've warned her if she's not careful she will end up upsetting both of them and end up with neither but every time we talk about it she ends up in tears and refuses to talk about it anymore. *sigh*

That sounds awfully familiar. If she really were in love with her boyfriend then she wouldn't have fallen for the trainer, right?

I really feel for her though, a year ago I was pretty much in the same place and it was super painful. I hope she figures it out!

But when I pointed that out to her she got worked up again and said of course she loved him but couldn't help having feeling for the other guy too so I dropped it, no point in upsetting her unnecessarily, she's going to have to make her mind up eventually though.

Things were much easier when she was a tiny baby in her pram!!
