August first is our national holiday and I was barbecuing with friends, ergo tequila pineapple kabobs! I ate far more than was good for me and the ex and I were flirting all night. It's so hard, I can't help it. And I might have a date tonight which I'm sort of dreading because dates make me nervous and I'm sort of disillusioned with dating at the moment.

On the plus side, I get to see my best friend after about a month, she's heading to Mosambique on Monday. Jealous! But happy for her :)

I don't believe you look like an alien. Pics or it didn't happen! ;p

I've been for a run around the block, feeling much better now

Hopfully there will be kabobs this afternoon, I gave my friend the recipe and she promised to make them so fingers crossed

Ggood luck with the date and don't be nervous, just relax and enjoy, I'm disillusioned with dating myself at the moment but if someone nice came along I'd go for it and see where it took me
