Concerning the being together... my sister decided not to come and I'm pretty angry with her. First she said she hadn't spoken with her new boyfriend about it yet, which I think it's horribly co-dependent especially considering they've been together for only about a month, and then she acted like she didn't know we'd be celebrating Easter, as if we haven't always, and to top it off our Dad is leaving for the US this Thursday so it was her last chance to see him. I don't mind missing her myself but I think it's awful that she's re-arranging her priorities around her new parter and I know my parents are hurt. Especially on a holiday, and when my dad is leaving soon, and on top of that he suddenly had to go to the hospital and it's nothing serious but it was worrying and my parents have sent her multiple e-mails and she has yet to respond. UGH.

Other than that, Easter was nice. :)

It was a lovely day although I was exhausted by the time they had all gone, some of them didn't leave until just after 3am this morning! a fun day all round with lots of catching up and gossiping, they seemed to enjoy the food and drink too!

Oh dear! your sister has really upset you all hasn't she? I can't help feeling she may live to regret it but that won't make all the hurt feelings go away will it, putting a new boyfriend before family is not a good way to go imo.

Glad you managed to enjoy Easter despite all that, back to work tomorrow for me ugh!
