that will be my last day, will get a good redundancy package however which is something, feeling a bit numb to be honest got a big lump in my throat that won't go away, going to the pub later on to drown my sorrows with everyone else, there will probably be some tears but at least we have a little while to get used to the idea and try and sort ourselves out. I feel sorry for those who have dependants they are really devastated.

I'm ok, not the end of the world and I'll survive I'm sure. Had a long talk with my hero (Dad) and as always feel much better now, bless him, he never fails me.

Off to the pub in an hour, see if we can cheer one another up a little.
