I told the young guy I've been seeing that I couldn't see him anymore because I met someone else who was nearer my age, the one I went out with just once for dinner a couple of weeks ago. Its not that I don't still fancy him I do but he's getting a little too intense and that's not what I want at the moment, I know it must sound selfish but I still think it's for the best.

I had to go into work today even though I still don't feel all that well, if I hadn't there would have been hell to pay from the suits upstairs, my line manager was cross with me and said I should have got a sick not from the dr and stayed at home, she's probably right, my eyes are still very sore and my body aches all over.

I never had veggie sushi, what's it like?

Not just the ex-fling. I agree with your assessment of him though, which is why I'm full of Schadenfreude that he's gained weight and also, his girlfriend is short and fat. Pfft.

The damn DVD hasn't arrived yet. I'm doing a test run on another one though (The Secret Life of Words! Fabulous, also happens to belong to the darn ex-fling), and while I managed the decryption Handbrake is taking time. It's been hours and it's not done yet. Is that normal?

Just how long depends on how fast your computer is, how much RAM it has, etc.
