Subject: Getting to know my new neighbourhood

I've not explored yet because it's so bloody cold here that once I get home in the evening I really don't feel like venturing out again. But this weekend I am going to make a concerted effort to get to know the area, check out the bars, cafes and shops. I actually think that in the immediate vicinity there's nothing much, but it's only about 10 minutes walk to the 18th where there's Montmartre (I can see Sacré Coeur from my flat), Abbesses, etc. and there's tons of stuff there.

it seems to be warming up here, no snow or ice at all, if it's like this tomorrow morning I may collect my neighbours dogs and go for a nice long walk.

Sat in the bar with a bunch of German's who sang along with Frank Sinatra "My way" and a fat dog with a seat on a chair outside. Good times.
