got a lift to work this morning, didn't want to drive in the heavy snow/sleet and high winds. Managed to get a lift part-way home and had to walk the rest of the way in a very heavy snowstorm blowing in my face all the way, just had a soak in a hot bubble bath to thaw out now I'm starving, think I'll have pork chops and mashed potatoes, I need comfort food.

We haven't had rain for over a month, instead we always had snow. What's up with that???

I reeeeeally like the acoustic version of Lady Gaga's Poker Face.

I tried to make healthier oatmeal raisin cookies by using sugar substitute and applesauce instead of butter and they came out... odd. :(

Just not at all like oatmeal raisin cookies are suppost to be! I think it was the sugar substitute because I've used applesauce as a replacement for butter before and it worked fine.

Mmmm, Ben & Jerry's... I wish I had some Yes, Pecan! to eat while watching the Inauguration tomorrow. :)

the result is always..ODD. I tried yogurt for fettucini alfredo...not a good idea. Stick with the butter and heavy cream. Trust me.
