I spent all my money, yeah that's right, ALL of it, well, what I had in my purse anyway, left my bloody debit/credit cards at home again, if I had a brain I'd be amazing.

I'm determined to watch some tv tonight, I have so much recorded stuff to catch up on but I always end up being distracted by phone calls/txts and playing on the internet then its bedtime before I know it.

My friend is pregnant, good news you might think, trouble is she's 50 years old, her partner is over the moon but I think she is a little scared by it all to be honest.

Someone just bought the office a great big carrot cake so I'm going to make a cup of tea and have myself a piece.

I went for lunch with colleagues today. We went to place nearby, a very grand, cavernous room, absolutely amazing, with a wonderful French menu and super efficient waiters. I was told it was very cheap -- I asked how come and was told it was a subsidised workers canteen!!!

"Are we allowed to eat here?", I asked, to which I was told in a shocked voice, "Of course, WE are workers".

Heh.

I guess I forgot my donkey jacket and pick axe at home.

Some of us had to make do with sitting by the river with a chip butty, but I'm not jealous, really I'm not ;-)
