Subject: Plans for the weekend?
I'll be spending this weekend with my daughter which is always fun, do doubt some quality shopping will be involved at some point
Tonight I'm going to do some baking, bread, cookies and pizza bases for the freezer, maybe some fruit pies too
Sunday we're going to a friends house for lunch, I love going there, she's a veggie and always makes something really tasty and different, I always intend to make the same dish myself when I get home but never seem to get aroun to it

i stayed up til 1:30 watching the olympics and cleaning...
then woke up at 5 to finish cleaning.
parents coming today. jude's b-day party tomorrow. back to school shopping sunday.
and i have to do A LOT of laundry in there somewhere.

So, depending on the weather, I may spend tomorrow in a very wet muddy field!
Good news, bad news... I didn't get the job. That's the bad news.
The good news? I may well be co-writing an entire book. Awwwwwwesome. Still have to find a publisher for it, but if all goes ahead, I may spend the next several months/one year on this project. Eep! Exciting though. (It's writing with the same guy who invited me to do the other writing/editing on books, only this time around, it would just be me and him writing!)

Yay for birthdays and book deals!
I'm heading down to the canton of Valais today to go to the open air Gampel, should be fun but the train connections aren't the best which means I'll only return sometime tomorrow morning. I'm not looking forward to the staying awake all night part of the deal... but it'll be worth it!

Sorry, you said you were going to the "open air Gampel", and I assumed a "Gampel" must be some sort of Swiss festivity, like the making of the Toblerones, or something, only this one was in the open air instead of in a bank vault or a cuckoo clock. (Sorry for spelling it wrong, though.)
