Subject: I misplaced some jewellery my Mum left me........

a really delicate gold neckace and her wedding ring which I usually wear all the time but I've been working outside all day in my friends garden and left them at home so they'd be "safe", now I can't find them, looked everywhere, could have sworn I left them on my bedside table next to the lamp but they're not there, looking here by the computer now

can't rest 'till I find them

I hate it when stuff like that happens, it's always so annoying. At least you didn't lose it though, so it's bound to turn up sometime, somewhere, right? I'll keep my fingers crossed!

For my part, I broke my cell phone yesterday, it slipped out of my sweater pocket as I was leaning over and fell into... the toilet. *headdesk* I retrieved it as quick as I could but it's probably still waterlogged and anyhow I'm afraid to check because of how upset I'll be if it's truly ruined. I'll have lost so many pictures and texts and videos!

guess where it was?

in my jeans pocket with a zip fastener, I had it on me all the time! Mike just rolled his eyes when I told him, I've had him looking all over the place for ages so he's not best pleased with me at the moment, could have sworn I put it on the bedroom table though!

sorry about your phone, it might be ok though if you let it dry out without messing with it, my Dad left his outside in the rain and it got soaked but was ok the next day when it had dried properly, finger crossed yours will be too, I would hate to lose all my photo's and stuff!!

if you got it out of the toilet really fast and immediately removed the battery it might be ok. Just leave it to air dry for a couple of days minimum. If you didn't remove the battery it's probably fucked.

"Dropped it in the toilet." *chuckle* You dork!

It happened on Saturday so I'm going to wait a few more days though. If it's fucked, then I really do have to buy a new one... but the iPhone will be awfully pricey. :-/

Thanks for the site, it sounds awesome. If I don't get an iPhone I'll surely be using it!

I have no idea if this service is available to Swiss mobile users, but

http://zyb.com/

allows you to back the contents of your phone up online.

I don't need it because my iPhone (which is the best bloody phone/PDA/iPod/handheld device I've ever seen let alone owned) seemlessly backs itself up to my Mac. You guys should be getting the iPhone in Switzerland this summer. If you have buggered your phone, maybe it's a blessing in disguise.

*hypnotic voice* Buy an iPhone. Buy an iPhone. *hypnotic voice*

naughty boy!!

I would'nt mind one actually but I thought there weren't any iPhones on sale anywhere at the moment until the new and improved model comes out right?

hopefully it will be a little cheaper too, I'll get one like a shot if it is
