Need to concentrate on one thing only so persuaded my line manager I would be better off at home and she agreed with me, I'm really glad she did too because it's chaos with some staff in our area being located to another part of the Uni, thank god I'm staying where I am, I hate all the disruption.

So, what are you all doing with yourselves today? Working? Playing? Staying in bed all day? tell Andy all about it please, I need some distration as well as working my butt off today too ;-)

strawberries, banana, greek yoghurt and honey smoothie for breakfast, yummy!!

I'm at home reading and sulking after Switzerland's defeat yesterday. Damn Turkey! I've actually got tickets to the Switzerland - Portugal match this Sunday but since the tournament is pretty much over for us anyway I'm not sure if I want to go... I mean, it's expensive and time-consuming but on the other hand, how often do you manage to get your hands on tickets like these, and at a time when the games are even taking place in your country??

Fyi, I'm talking about the European football (soccer) championships.

So do I go or not? :-/

My breakfast was a kiwi, an apple, a peach, a mocha yogurt and a scrambled egg. You have me lusting after a smoothie though!

PS I'm horribly lovesick. Men are so frustrating!

but we love them really don't we God bless 'em ;-)

Ok, football? I know nothing, nothing at all about football but if I were a fan and had those tickets I would definitely go, it sounds like you would enjoy it anyway even if your country (like mine) is out of the running, go for it, you'll get caught up in the atmosphere and excitment anyway once you're there.

Don't get me started on this it just bloody well infuriates me.......

she's gorgeous for God's sake, the fashion industry has a lot to answer for.

[> [> [> that's a USA size 8, right? -- Gabs, 11:02:18 06/12/08 Thu [1] (83.222.159.231)

That's MY size. Jerks. I think on America's Next Top Model they once included a size 8 girl as the plus-sized model. What the fucking fuck, seriously.

Yeah, I think I will go, it's not an everyday chance after all and though Switzerland is bound to lose, it still might be fun.

but still, totally ridiculous, I'm UK size 10/12 depending on what the style of clothing is and while I'm not perfect by any means and have annoying little lumps and bumps everywhere I certainly don't consider myself fat.

And I still don't know what UK or US size I'd be, each site says something else. In Switzerland and Germany I'm 38, anyhow, and I consider myself average.

(I have to admit that my goal would be 36 though.)

Dish the dirt, Gabs!

Is it still "A" you're lovesick over, or have you moved on to a new one? What have you decided to do about your boyfriend?

[> [> [> Well.. -- Gabs, 11:06:41 06/12/08 Thu [1] (83.222.159.231)

I'm in the middle of exams so I actually tried to put off the decision until all this crap was over. But the current crush G and I have sort of been hanging out a lot lately and it's awfully distracting. But yeah, a break-up with A is probably nigh. So basically I'm torn between guilt and daydreaming when I've actually got more important stuff to concentrate on.

I'll be crossing my fingers and holding my thumbs for you, I hate surgery. I hope it all goes well.

No food for four days! But you can drink like, watery soup and stuff, right? At least that??

Men shmen indeed (no offense meant to the board studs, of course).

[> [> [> [> Actually... -- Gabs, 16:04:12 06/12/08 Thu [1] (83.222.159.231)

It sort of is! Cause I'm hungry and I like yogurt and cottage cheese, and I haven't had popsicles and jell-o in ages.

The baby food, however, sounds less appetizing.

best thing she ever did according to her, she could only have milk for a week before the op as I recall but says it was definitely worth it and would do it again, I'm sure you'll be ok gretch, we'll all be thinking of you come Monday!!

no sign of our "board studs" today, where the frack are they all?

*I've* posted today.

So apparently you don't think I'm one of the board studs, huh? Thanks a bunch.

I'll remember this. Just you see.

What do I have to do to get in your good books again?

I'm really really sorry, I've been so busy today and forgot our conversations first thing this morning.

*sits in corner and weeps*
