I have a severe ear infection and can't stand any noise at all at the moment, I'm glad you enjoyed the gig though :-)

We are officially offline until 1st July (when we're getting internet installed - sadly no wireless connection nearby), although I wouldn't hold my breath.

Me and Ian saw MBV on Friday night - they were great, but loud. I wasn't wearing earplugs, since I didn't realise at the time there were any available, but a great, if strange, gig. Wish I had worn earplugs though, since apparently you could hear more of the melodies than without.
