(He couldn't help the way he laughed, shaking his head a bit as she indulged in talk of her sex drive.. which was actually quite amusing to him as he imagined the logistics of sex with a pregnant woman.. Addie might be small at the current time, but she would no doubt grow as her pregnancy continued on and he thought it was sort of interesting this whole pregnant woman thing. That and he suddenly felt pretty sorry for Shay.. poor thing was at home probably having a pretty good sex drive with no Remy.. though he had to admit the smug glee that his teasing partner was missing out on his end of that bargain.) I do think that is a bit too much information for me, but I will keep that in mind the next time I have to deal with a pregnant woman. (He winked, reaching out to take the two marshmellows off the counter.) I bed I could kill you at chubby bunny.. (He said with a suggestive smile, but he ate one of the marshmellows, so the only way that would happen is if she gave him more of her prescious brood of sugar.) (He rolled his eyes and nodded.) Yeah.. I just got upset about leaving her and all of a sudden I couldn't breath and my chest hurt something wicked.. and then the paramedics were there. If I wasn't still so short of breath all the time I would think they were just joking and it was nothing more than an anxiety attack.. I've never been so physically fit in my life- though the paramedics said that was why my heart was so strained. (He shrugged, it all sounded stupid to him, another reason to pay for health insurance if you asked him. He smiled when she commented on his wife and nodded.) Yeah, she started dying her hair back in high school.. still does. She's an activist now, working with a presidential candidate, writing speeches and whatnot.. we met up at one of the confernces she was at for the first time after four years of being apart and neither of us could keep the other away.. it just happened. (He was leaning towards Jai, looking over her shoulder at the picture of Shay with pride and love in his eyes as he recalled that day.) We got married at the conference.. my commander presided over the ceremony. She got shot by a man who doesn't agree with her viewpoint on this base in Virginia... so I got some leave to take care of her and we spent it running around trying to avoid the agents who had been told we were rogue. (He sighed.. ) Sounds like a friggen b-rated movie plot. But through all of it she was so strong, looking out for me and Kyrian - he got caught by the enemy, they poured acid on his back.. it was really bad.. - but anyways, she just went along with it all and God, she is going to be the best mother, Jai. She has the biggest heart and the most wonderful easygoing manner about her.. she can yak your ear off one minute and sit quietly by your side the next.. (It was blatantly obvious that he would talk about her all night long he loved her so much.)
