(He smiled as he watched the two of them, charmed despite himself. It bothered him just how much he found that he wanted this sort of happiness for him and Haylie and how deeply he was starting to feel like he had been let down by her leaving so quickly. He felt like if she had just stuck around and let him come to her they could have worked things out and would have been married at that moment.. he would have gotten the marriage lisense a few days later and they could have gotten married properly.) Yeah, you guys go ahead.. I think I might take a little look into that glass of port that Dare mentioned earlier - I need to clear my head a bit. (He said wtih a soft smile, running a hand back through his shaggy hair before shifting a bit to slip down from the counter, nodding as he did.) I have a feeling Remy will have a day planned out already for us - we have a lot of information to gather and I think he is restless to get home to his wife already. (He shoved his hands into his pockets and murmured his good night to them before heading off into the greathall to investigate the remainder of the port.) (He ran a hand over Addie's hair as she snuggled up to him, having a feeling he knew what she was thinking about if she was willing to forego her marshmellows for going to bed.. not that he minded a wee bit in the least way possible.) Och.. ye stab one guy with a sword and people doona let it go.. (He murmured with a chuckle, stooping to scoop her up into his arms as Kyrian laughed a little and left the kitchen.) Ye know.. I do think yer spoiling me eating those marshmellows all the time.. makes ye so much sweeter.. (He teased lightly, pressing a kiss to her cheek before carrying her up to their chambers to make love to her.) (He nodded a bit at her words about Dare.) If I lived in a place like this and had a wife like you I would damn well be a showoff too.. but I have the feeling that he's a really good guy for you to be so happy with him. (He winked, shifting to lay down more on the bed as he moved towards the door, he really was exhausted and he was thinking about sneaking a call to Shay.. against protocol.. but he didn't know if he could sleep without speaking to her.) See you in the morning, Jailynn. (All the men in the keep said her name with one stress, like 'Jaylin', but he said her name with the stress on the first syllable, almost as though her name were two seperate words 'Jay Lynn'.. he had always said her name differently like that, as though a Texan would say it.. it had just been habit. As soon as she was gone, he would roll over to think about how to get through to speak to Shay, but fell asleep before he could figure out how.)
