I remember Mr. Rauch. He was my fifth grade teacher back in the 70's...I don't even remember the year. It was one of his first years teaching in Canarsie. I lived on East 87th street btwn M & N. I think this was even before you guys got married and he lived on something like East 89th between M & N before you moved to avenue N. I just want to say they really don't make teachers like you anymore (unfortunately). I now have two children both older than I was when I had Mr. Rauch and I can honstly say that even though I live in an affulent area with extremely well paid teachers. It is a long way from Canarsie and after seeing your posting I felt compelled to say thanks for a job well done. I don't even know if he would remember me....Susan Moskowitz....a long time removed from Canarsie but I remember him, along with many other fond memories.
