Looking for a man who saved my 11-year old friend and me, in the early 60s. Two men lay in wait for us around the corner of the E. 105th Street train station. This man, this angel took us by the hand and brought us home to the Breukelen houses, though I know he was afraid himself. I never knew his name, but I might very well owe the rest of what has been my life to him. He was African American, medium height and build, probably in his 30s at the time.
