i got a robbie biegel story you wont believe. In July 1974 we made a slew of prank phone calls to a 24 yr old robbie biegel while he was practicing his drums. We were kids back then but it appeared to have driven him nuts at the time. There were no caller id's and no answering machines so he was screwed. His voice seemed to have cracked us up. Sounded like a hippie from woodstock that was into peace and love but he didn't sound so peaceful when he said"If i find out who you fucking kids are im going to come over and break your neck". I still have some of those calls on tape . We call them the robbie & ida calls . Right after we called him we called ida fetner who was an old woman in a nursing home . The contrast was quite startling when you listen to robbie and then ida. I think ida is dead . robbie i guess is still around
