Upto about January or February 1990, Dance Theatre Foundation, Inc., was remitting rental payments on behalf of the founder of Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation to , I believe, Tower Associates and then to Grenadier Realty. To the best of my memory, Mr. Ailey was occupying an apartment in the East 50's near 8th Avenue. I know that this is a very long time ago, but is there anyhting on your records that would identify the address of this building? This information is very important to us now that we are in the process of acquiring premises at 841 Ninth Avenue as the new Ailey Headquarters. Anyone who can provide us with the correct information will receive a
pair of tickets to see this world reknown company perform at City Center in December. Please consider this urgent and important. No cranks, please. We will have to verify
information to ensure its accuracy. Help!
