~*~*the cyclone split briefly as Kyle's lightning neared, as the man held out one palm. the attack stopped inches from him, and turned, backfireing upon D and Alucard. he turned to the animals who were attaacking, and quickly moved the cyclone in their direction, scattering them out into the lake along with Kyle who was also hit. the tister dimmed and grew shorter as he descended, ejecting Cye and Psyke from the tunnel inside. he suddenly lunged from the safety of his cyclone, as the aquatic Sentinels began to form a new one. he extended his arms from his cloak for the first time, causing it to blow off his shoulders and vanish into the wind. he landed gracefully, as you got the first decent look at him. that visor around his head and eyes dropped to a breast plate bearing an emblem, that somewhat resembeled a gryphon in gold, with solid black eyes. there were random wires sticking out of cracks in the breast plate as you checked the rest of him out. his arms were both entirely synthetic, mechanical wires and sparks with no cover over them. one of his legs was the same, but the other was a melding of flesh and robotics. he had what appeared to be a tail, that looked as if it had been real at one point- the bones were now sticking out, covered in metalic attachments, with enough triggers set into it that one blow would be fatal. there was a black colar around his neck, much like the one Faeren had once worn. he took a few steps foreward, before holding out one hand- a long needle, perhaps an inch long, appeared in his palm, or rather, from his palm. what ever was at its base was inside his hand. you suddenly fealt a swell of pity as you thought of how he must have died to be mostly mechanical, and the pain that he was in now because he was the origional Sentinel. though his eyes were cold and heartless, you could see a dim light locked away somewhere. he looked up, and spoke.*~*~
light of Baaj... guide me...
~*~*he vanished briefly, but that was short lived. he appeared behind Kyo, and grabbed him by the neck, locgeing the needly into his spine. paralyzation took Kyo as the man released him, and returned to the newly formed Cyclone. he disapeared beneath the spirals of former waves, which by Kyo's stollen power, turned to flame as it grew in size. you thought about his comment for a moment... Sweet Breeze had said that Baaj was the dark realm of this world. you watched at the last waves propelled everything living out of the lake, including the mythical creatures that had worked very hard to protect the lake in the past. the water turned to flame, and was absorbed into the cyclone. the lake was empty, dry... you could see something at the bottom, something resembling a castle. you dared not dwell on it now, as you looked up. the man was floating above the cyclone, and a black streak appeared in the sky. a dome began to form over the lake.*~*~
