:a spirit-guardian, eh? that makes him potentially dangerous to us. any spirit can command him so long as he is in the mind-set that he was put here to defend them. that could be a problem.... Ma'ar is the future Spirit of Defense, so if Ma'ar decided to tell him to attack us, he would obey. those of you who are to become spirits do not yet have the strength to command a spiritual guardian. if i remember correctly....:

:Sir Ruyan.... with the Mourning Stone.... he was appointed the role of a guardian at birth. my people keep an eye on all of the guardians of this world. Sir Ruyan is supposedly one of the stronger guardians, keeping to the higher palaces used by the spirits. that would explain his coming from the barrier at the lake. he attained the Mourning Stone- one of the 14 stones kept by the World Wisher -when he was 15. he is sort of a spiritual mercenary- he works for what ever spirit he can best benefit from. and the only way to attain the title 'Sir' in the guardian world, is to be directly employed by one of the 12 high spirits. they sent him here for a reason, and i doubt it was to help us. he wants something else.... what spirit sent him will tell us that much, but we have no way of knowing that. my advice is to aavoid the subject for now.... just until he gets used to being with us. if worse comes to worse..... Cye and I are both to be spirits, perhaps our combined power could effect him. just leave him be for now. and T'Nar.... dont try anything with him. he has a bird of his own, and i doubt it would mind eating you.:
