He was thinking about her as he waited, thinking that she seemed to have a problem with falling for guys who weren't quite available to her - that would only lead to heart ache for her and he felt bad for her about that. There wasn't a thing he could do though, he knew that it was pointless to talk to a girl about a guy she had feelings for cuz no female would listen to reason when it came to affections so he just shrugged it off and then stood when she came back out. Instead of taking her hand, he reached his arm around her and shifted to plop his hat on her head, smirking lightly. "Tea? I don't do tea, kitten." He stated with a shaking of his head. "Coffee though, I could go for some strong coffee and a good breakfast...thought I saw a diner up the road, wanna hit that up and then we can tuck you in for a little while?" His hand rested on the small of her back guiding her out the wide double doors to the hospital and back out to the car. Southern manners had him opening the door and making sure she was settled before closing the door and heading back around to get in, waiting for her answer on whether or not she wanted to grab some grub.
