Nuzzling the nape of her neck, he twined his fingers with hers against her stomach and sighed.) I should have never allowed her to leave that day.. when she found out she was pregnant and still not cleared for active duty.. she came into my office and freaked out and I sent her on her way. God, I am so naive at this job and the mistakes I make are causing lives to be ruined. (He took in his breath again and let it out through his nose in another sigh. His lips brushed over her shoulder before he rested his head, smiling as she turned her head to kiss his jaw and letting his touch against her stomach become more flirtacious.) Yeah.. when he found out that Haylie was kidnapped during the mission he went haywire and Courtney made the mistake of walking over and touching him during one of his episodes.. he cracked and grabbed her.. only her arm was fragile enough to snap at the time. (He tilted his chin down so that his forehead was against the nape of her neck and sighed.) Sometimes I don't know what to do with him, Shay.
