(He was so tired he didn't want to move and smirked when she pulled his arms around her, his fingers playfully digging into her soft stomach. His eyes were sleepy and his hair was mused.. well, moreso than normal, which was saying a lot. His clothes were rumpled as well, from having slept in a chair in a hospital room that was too small for a man of his size. When she mentioned food, however, he perked up and actually turned his head to look at her.. he could definitely eat something.) Let me say Hi to Chase first.. then we can go.. (He murmured and leaned in to kiss her cheek, shifting her out of his lap and heading into the other room to say hello to his boy, who was still awake and happy to see him, he loved when the boy was half awake and so soft and warm.. such a sweetheart. After a few moments, he reappeared and went to take her hand, exchanging quiet greetings with Kyrian before leading her out into the hallway. When they were alone, he pulled her into his arms and backed her against the wall, lowering his head to kiss her heatedly.. he had missed her and it had been a long time since they had been togeter.) (He had sort of spaced out as he sat there with her, her hand in his, laid across his lap as he perched on her bedside. Watching the monitors blip and beep was somewhat of a hypnotising pastime and he was sure he would have fallen asleep had she not shifted beside him. His eyes moved to her and then back to the monitor, registering the increase in brain activity and heartrate.. it hadn't been in his imagination. Getting to his feet, he turned to her and let go of her hand with his good hand so that he could use it to brush the side of her face.) Haylie? (He murmured to her questioningly, slipping his bad hand under hers so that he could continue the contact even if he couldn't grip her hand. He pushed her hair back and when she went to turn onto her side, he pulled the sheet up a bit more and then left her side to get another blanket from the other room, bringing it in and laying it over her, tucking her in. Leaning down, he kissed her temple.) Hey, sweetheart.. I'm here.. (He said as he pulled a chair over and sat at her side, slipping his bad hand under hers and lightly running his other hand up and down her arm as she lay on her side faceing him.)
