(He too looked over the food on the table, though he was feeling a bit more stable than she was and thought perhaps having a bite to eat was a good idea. His hangovers usually didn't happen when he woke, but came on as a headache and nausea later in the day. If he ate now, there was a very good chance he wouldn't even have a hangover.) I know you enough to know that what happened last night was not a mistake. (He said confidently as he took a seat across the table from her and picked up his fork, looking over the food on his plate before taking a bite and then lifting his grey eyes to her. He looked more mature than he had the night before, all of his nerves were gone.. he was comfortable and confident now and looked every bit the braw husband she would proudly have married had he been chosen for her by her father, rest his soul.)
