(He ran his hand over his face, trying to figure out how he was going to make this work. Eventually she would see that he wasnt like his father, right? Was he going to have to put up with her looking at him like he was a snake for another year before she annulled their marraige and legally was able to walk out of his life? That thought worried him a bit.. he would have to get his father firmly out of the picture before she left him so that he would know she was safe. Sighing, he tipped his head back against the wall and closed his eyes, rubbing his temples with his fingers and trying to get the headache to go away.. his hangover was starting to kick in now that he was upset and adreneline was rushing through him from his quick anger. In the silence he listened as she stormed about in her room, then as she started to sob, and he felt a distinct urge to go to her.. but he doubted he would be so kind about her denying him again. For the first time in his life he had met someone whose opinion of him actually mattered to him.. and she happened to be his wife.. and she happened to hate him. Yeah.. life was grand.)
