(He smiled lovingly at her, holding her close to him until she had calmed down, though it would take him a lot longer to get his body to even consider toning it down a bit. He took a deep breath as though to attempt this, when she shifted in his lap and tore a grunt from him. No, his body was not going to cooperate. He let her settle and then put his arms around her, leaning in to kiss her neck softly, lingering there as she talked to the others, just nuzzling, nipping and kissing her neck wherever he could reach. He just liked the smell of her, the feel of her and the taste of her.. and her neck just happened to have all of those things so perfectly laid out for him.) (She rolled her eyes as she watched kyrian with haylie.. he had never been that way with her.. their affair had been down and dirty.. the kind of thing where they would just attack each other in the hallway at work and end up in someone's quarters.. it had never been an affectionate sort of thing. Which was probably why he had been so shocked at her declaration of love.. but then he had never opened his eyes to the fact that she had been falling for him slowly for months.. he had just slept with her and moved on. She let out a low breath, feeling the pang of heartache that she had spent years getting over with him. She had decided after him that it wasn't worth it to fall for someone.. they never noticed you and she wasn't the type of woman a man loved.. bedded, yes.. but loved? no. She let out a huff and picked up her glass, crossing her ankles and taking a long drink from it. She was suddenly not in the mood for anything. Life was pissing her off.)
