(He felt a knot forming in his stomach and he hated that it was there.. that he could be brought to his knees so damned easily. The mere thought of being at home while she was out in the field twisted him up inside... and to think that if he had never met her she would be out in the field on her own and he wouldn't be any wiser about it. It was rediculous and necessary at the same time to him, feeling the attachment he had to her... it gave him a sense of permanent belonging in the world. He let out a breath as he looked at her, pursing his lips a little after she kissed him.) I will have to go through the agency to have it looked at, anything I do outside it will just be tracked anyways. (He sighed, shifting his weight a little beneath her, his eyes searching her features.) The one thing in the world that drives me insane is feeling helpless, Haylie. I wouldn't be able to be at home while you guys were out in the field, I would lose it.
