(He knew Skeeter well enough to know that anything less than pure painful outrage would make the man behave like that, and he still hadn't expected the response he got to his words. He jumped when the table was thrown against the wall, still glaring as he watched Skeeter stalk out of the room, another shudder escaping him as the door slammed. He looked over at the pack of cigarettes that landed on the bed and picked them up, though would have much rather had a bottle of whiskey, and flipped one out with his good hand, pulling it out of the pack with his lips before lighting it and leaning back against he wall to eye Braden assessingly. He shrugged in response, letting a few moments pass before pulling the cigarette from his lips and letting out the smoke on a sigh.) He started it. (He muttered insolently, rolling the cigarette between his fingers.)
