Subject: She lifted her head after a moment, turning her unique gaze to rest on him for a second before she nodded a little in response to the statement about the hotel. "Thanks...that would be nice." She bit her lip a little, letting out a soft breath as she looked over at the window, watching the town go by. At his next question, she smirked, shaking her head. "Nay, apperantly they are of the clans that believe me to be a witch, I think they were mostly afraid I would set a hex upon them if they touched me intimately..." She shrugged, the comments had long since stopped offended her. She paused a moment before she looked back over to him, her brow knitted together curiously. "Who sent ye to find me?" Someone must have sent him unless her mother had put out a reward and he was just a private person looking to get some extra cash...though he didn't look like he needed it.

  • (He let out a low breath in complete relief.. he would have felt like he had failed had they ruined her reputation and soiled what was supposed to be a virgin wedding for her in the future. He respected traditions and knew that for this woman virginity was paramount. He looked over at her as she spoke and for the first time noticed just how brilliantly different her eyes were, and smiled a little.) There are some traditions that just won't die. (He said softly, though the statement was a little hypocritical for him to be saying. At her question about who sent him, he shrugged.) It doesn't matter, I am going to keep you safe until I can get you back to your family and that is all that matters. (He said as he looked up at the rearview mirror. He didn't want her to know that his father was the man who had kidnapped her.. he knew she wouldn't understand and he didn't wnat to have to fight with her to get her to safety.)
