(For a moment he thought perhaps she was going to back out of it and he had cursed his own sanity for making him think this was the right thing to do.. but when she had looked at him and everything had fallen into place between them it all came back and reassure him that this was in fact exactly what was right for them. The words sounded so beautiful in her lilting brogue and sweet musical voice and he felt like had he not been on his knees already he would have been brought their by the force of those words on his heart. He smiled at her happily and slid his hand free of hers to pick her up again, laying her high on the massive four poster among the pillows before climbing up to join her, his gaze always remaining intent on her. On his knees beside her and with his hands on either side of her, he lowered his head to nuzzle the side of her neck, kissing her there before laying a path of kisses up the column of her throat to the place where her jaw and neck met and then up across her cheek and finally he kissed her deeply, all the while making appreciative little sounds in his throat.)
