Hi there. (He said in a soft tone, his heart picking up at the sound of her voice, a smile slowly curving his lips.. he had been sorry that they hadn't been able to talk more earlier. He cursed low in his throat when she said she was there, knowing a lot of time had passed and he hadn't been working as he should have been.. he had worn himself out worrying and had simply passed out from exhaustion. Leaning over, he turned the lamp on and squinted at the hotel phone on the nightstand, reading off the addres for her and then flipping the lamp back off again, he would just crash for a bit until she got there. He wanted her there, to hold her and murmur his love to her.. seeing just how dangerous this whole thing was had reminded him of how easily life could be altered and how much he needed Haylie to know he loved her. He had so much sorrow and pain inside him that he felt like he couldn't seperate himself from it if even for a moment.. he was just drowning in it.)

She got there quickly enough and made her way up to his room, knocking on the door. Hopefully he wasn't in to deep a sleep or he would never hear her knocking and she didn't think the front desk would give her a key - or at least she hoped they wouldn't - not everyone who had a badge could be trusted. She let out a low breath as she shifted her weight, running her hand over her face. She looked pretty tired herself and hadn't eaten anything since god knew when.
