Subject: (He had only been lightly dozing in the dark, staring up at the shadows the moon cast on the cieling as it reflected off the windows and mirror in the room. At her knock, he got up and padded to the door, leaving the room dark as he opened the door and looked at her silently for a moment, just taking her in as though he hadn't seen her in ages, or hadn't truly looked at her before in his life. She looked so tired, worn and yet so beautiful that it tore at him, and he reached for her, gripping her as his hand slid around her ribs and pulled her toward him.) God, I needed you here. (He said in a low voice, admitting just how much she had come to mean to him.. she was his sanity at times. He brought his head down and rested his forehead against hers, his eyes closing as he put his arms around her, just taking her in.)

  • She pushed the door shut behind them before she just wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly, letting out a soft breath as she closed her eyes and took in the reassuring scent and feel of him. She needed him just as much as he did her, if not more at times and it was such a relief to be comfortably in his arms. "I'm here now..." She murmured reassuringly, her eyes opening to drift up to his, her hand lifting to run slowly, gently through his hair before she trailed the back of her fingers down his cheek.
