(The two of them had remained mostly silent on the way to Ash's apartment after the scathing remark he'd made to Kyrian about being "whipped" and the sock to his arm he'd received in return. He thought it was interesting and more than amusing to watch his fried so obviously lost in thought about a girl. They had checked in with their commander, found out that they were still assigned to monitor the situation with Shay and Boelyn, but Kyrian had been surprised to find that he would be mostly seperated from working beside Remy for the remainder of the week.. it was almost like they were being seperated on purpose. Sighing, he had engaged Ash in a discussion about the time off he would need now that he was getting married and would have a wife to tend to. His commander had dismissed Kyrian into the hallway in a move that made Remy grit his teeth to not say something about it.. but he had let things happen and after an hours heated arguing had secured nearly a month of leave that he could take immediately following the conference. Smug, he had joined up with Kyrian in the hallway and the two of them had left to go to the bank.)

(He had to admit that his partner seemed more together and on top of things than he had all week long now that he was engaged to Shay. It surprised him and had him remaining mostly silent, only asking a question or two every now and then as his curiousity piqued. Remy had merely laughed and filled him in on how things had happened between them, until he found that the romance of it was sort of intriguing to him.. definitely not something he would do, but interesting nontheless. They had gone into a safety deposit vault and Remy had removed a small white leather box from the mess of papers, files and other keepsakes stored in the deposit box. He had witnessed the removal of the item and then they had gone to buy suits. He wasn't too excited about buying clothes, but he did need a new suit anyways and they had had fun arguing with each other about styles, sized and many other things that men like them found amusing. They had been walking out of the mall when Remy had spotted an arcade and grabbed a handful of his shirt to tug him in there.. they had spent a load of money before he decided to call Haylie to see if they were ready to meet back at the hotel, a senior commander had agreed to marry Remy and Shay and would be there when they were ready.)
