(He nodded in agreement to her assumption that they were meant to be together. He had been about to answer her when her sudden stop and gasp made him bring his eyes up suddenly. He looked over his shoulder at Haylie, a bit of surprised appreciation lighting his eyes, wishing that he had had the foresight to come up with something like this.. but to be honest he had just planned on taking her back up to their room and loving her so thoroughly that she couldn't forget this day for the rest of her life. He had never been a very romantic person, and had decided that he would give her a taste of that tonight, but this was what she had wanted and if he wasnt the one to give it to her, he wouldn't let it bother him. He put his arm around her as she sighed, letting his eyes run around the room before they settled on Haylie. He could detect the desire to not be in the spotlight in her, so he smiled and nudged her on.) C'mon sweety, lets go check out the table. (He let her over and held her seat for her, pushing it in as she sat, looking at Haylie over her head and winking, his private thanks for the work she had done.)

(He sheltered her in his arm as she cuddled in closer under the excited gaze of Shay.. for such a little woman she sure packed a ton of emotion into her gaze. He smiled back at her and ran his hand up and down Haylie's arm. When Remy led Shay away he turned her in his arms, looking down at her.) You amaze me sometimes, Haylie. (He said softly, not expecting or requiring an answer from her, just needing to say the words he was feeling. He leaned down to press a tender kiss to her lips, his hand running over the soft wave of her hair. He slipped his hand into hers to lead her over to the table, not wanting to draw more attention to her by kissing her in public, let alone in front of bubbly Shay.)
