She tipped her head to the side, a smile of appreciation on her face at his reaction. Casually, she pushed off the wall and walked towards him, placing one strappy, black heeled shoe directly in front of the other as she came to stop about a foot in front of him. One hand lifted to run through her hair, shaking it out and letting it fall to the side as she gazed at him, the candlelight playing tricks with her eyes, making them flicker and sparkle in unnatural ways.
