She was punching the button to the elevator, staring up at the numbers as it counted down, her anger taken out on the poor button before she realized what she was doing and dropped her arms to her side only for them to be lifted again to cross over her chest. "Lost the key to the office. Thought you'd be gone. Figured since I was already there and interrupting I may as well get what I went there for." She stated, her voice short and to the point, there was no reason to even waste words on him at this point. The only hint of her upset was the a soft curse escaped her lips as the numbers froze 12 flights above them to apperantly pick up passengers and take them back up to some unknown floor. She shifted her weight on her feet, rocking back as she played her fingers over the leather on her opposite arm in an impatient tapping movement, telling herself over and over that she had no reason to feel jealous, upset, or betrayed over this - they had said their goodbyes, kind of - he wasn't hers and he never had been by any means. He'd been a screw, a lay, a way to pass some time, that was all. Didn't matter that he made her feel pretty, appreciated, it didn't matter that he made her laugh and played with her hair or that he had been able to take her breath away with just a look, none of that matter really. He was just another guy. A guy that made her heart beat so fast she was sure it was going to pump out of her chest. That was all.
