I was starting to think we were dealing with at least two people.. it just seemed too unlikely that someone could trash Shays room and administer so much mayhem at the restaurant at the same time. (He looked thoughtful for a moment before he groaned at her back cracking and shook his head, wishing he could do the same. He'd been injured so many times in the field that cracking his back like that would take a lot of time and pressure. He'd broken his vertebrae several years earlier in a helicopter crash, and though it was fully healed and functional it often meant that a tightness in his spine was normal.) You have now idea how lucky you are to be able to do that. (He would rather talk about his injuries than have her telling him what to eat.. it was just odd.)

She couldn't quite place his accent and usually could place a person in a state as soon as they opened their mouth. Her full lips parted in a bit of a yawn as she blinked a few times, starting to get sleepy with the warm water splashing around her and the deep timber of his voice in her ears.
