(He had participated in a long debriefing session following the chaos in the auditorium and the much more personal attack in the hall. Ashton Keller, his commander, had assigned Kyrian and him to protect the girl during that particular session and much to Remy's dismay, he had been pulled aside after Kyrian left to speak to the commander alone. Apparently, a threat had come in just prior to the disruption, and there was evidence that was leading Ash to believe that the girl was not in danger, but possibly part of the attack. Kyrian would remain unknowing of those facts, and would be there to protect the girl from any danger posed to her, since she could be taken down by higher powers against the candidacy. Remy, however, was there to keep an eye on her and to glean any information from her that he could that might possibly tie her to the case or prove her innocence. Now, as he got on the elevator and went to press the button for the floor reserved for security, he found his finger instead hovering over the button for her floor. It had been four years since he had seen her, and he was a much different man now, but his heart still felt the same for her. He found it hard to believe that his Shay could be behind something like this, but his Shay didn't exist either, according to the articles and images he had seen of her over the years. Nevertheless, he found himself walking down the hall towards her room, standing in front of her door and knocking. The pull was just too great for even him to resist.)
