She stated before she pulled out her own cigarettes and lit up one for herself, taking a deep drag before she spoke again. "I knew for months that he was getting bored, restless, that he was losing intrest in me." She shrugged a little, her eyes moving to the man next to her for a second, wondering about him before she continued speaking. "I was so over all this too, you know? I was doing pretty good for myself." She let out a soft breath, running her hand over her face before she took another hit off of the cigarette, swallowing heavily for a brief second before his last words got her attention. "What? You hit him? Why?"

  • (He shook his head right abck at her.) It probably took him that long to get up the ability to lie to you. Once he gets something in his head he won't give up until he gets it. (He pulled back into traffic and looked over at the computer screen to make sure he was on track, sighing when a message came through from Ash and quietly memorizing the remaining directions before shutting the system down again.) He trashed his hotel room, broke pretty much everything in there and would have hurt himself too. When he gets pissed like that, and I am guessing he used his anger to get you into bed, you have to fight back at him. (He flicked ash out the window and closed it again.) I dragged him out in the hall and he fought against me so I slugged him, he was so far lost in his anger that it took a whole lot more than some harsh words to break him out of it.
