(He said as though he were protecting her from his partner. He knew in all reality there was nothing a woman of her size could do to stop a man like Remy if his mind was set, but he was also really unsure of what exactly had happened and why Remy had hurt her.. it just didn't seem like his partner to do something like that.)

  • She put the collar up as he instructed and allowed herself to stay in the comforting circle of his arms to protect her from the view of anyone. She flashed him a grateful smile when they were inside before she let out a soft breath, tugging his jacket tighter around her small body, it nearly swallowed her up. She let the corner of her lower lip tuck between her teeth as she shifted nervously, uncomfortable in the bright sterile enviroment. Clearing her throat, she made her way up to the front desk and signed in before the receptionist told her it would be a few minutes. She saw the way a couple of people looked twice at her, knowing they would recognize her and she groaned inwardly, going to sit on a bench away from the window, looking over Kyrian. "Now we wait..."
