(He let her lead him over to the bed simply because if he had let her pull any more on his hand he might have just fallen right there and let his pride go completely. As it was, he followed her in that same sluggish sense of reality and then sank down on the bed, looking over at her as she saw her own photo on his phone. He couldnt help but laugh low in his throat at her words to Ash, imagining the older man bristling arrogantly and planning his next move to make remy pay for letting her have his phone. Nonetheless the commander agreed and said he would be there within the quarter hour.) Tell him to bring me a new issue gun. (He murmured, his hand moving reassuringly over her stomach, a touch he would have given her years before.)
