(He hadn't noticed because he had been focused on other things when he'd been first surveying for danger, and then reacting to a possible attack. When danger occured he was able to harness his adreniline and become unshakably focuses. He smiled as he listened to her, itching to press his lips against the soft skin at the nape of her neck, the place he'd always loved to press his face against while he slept.) I've been told leather and combat boots are a nice look for me.
